REVISON POLICY

1. Revision Policy Overview & Scope

A. Core Definition of a Revision

A "revision" is defined as a minor modification, refinement, or adjustment to features, elements, or concepts already present and approved in the most recent draft.

Examples: Adjusting an existing color palette, minor changes to line weights, slightly moving a pre-approved element, or tweaking the size of a feature.

B. Exclusions (What is NOT a Revision)

The following are not considered revisions and will require a new project scope, quote, and potentially a new contract:

Significant Conceptual Shifts: Changes that alter the fundamental approved concept, brief, or direction established at the project's start (e.g., changing the core subject, style, or narrative).

New Deliverables: Adding new elements or features that were not part of the initial agreement or scope (e.g., requesting a new, entirely different background or requesting a second version of the work).

C. Standard Revision Allowance

All projects include a set number of revision rounds within the initial quoted price to ensure client satisfaction. These rounds are strictly defined below.

2. Revision Policy

A. Included Revisions (Rounds 1 & 2)

Definition: Minor adjustments to features already present in the initial draft (e.g., slight color correction, minor line thickness adjustment, tweaking the exaggeration level of one feature).

Procedure: The client must submit all requested changes for a single round in a single, consolidated list. We will address the entire list and resubmit the work. A new round begins upon resubmission.

B. Revision Cut-off Point (The Limit)

The cut-off point is reached after the completion and submission of the 2nd included revision round.

At this stage, the client must either Approve the artwork or move to Paid Revisions.

3. Handling Unsatisfied Clients (Post-Cut-off)

When a client repeatedly requests multiple, small changes beyond the included rounds, follow this protocol:

Step 1: Formal Notification (After 2nd Round)

Action: Client will be sent a formal email/message detailing the end of the included revisions.

Wording: "Thank you for your feedback on Round 2. As per our initial agreement, the two included rounds of revisions are now complete. To proceed with the further changes requested, we must move to our Paid Revision policy."

Step 2: Propose Paid Revisions

Option 1: Hourly Rate: Charge a fixed hourly rate (e.g., $25/hour) for all subsequent work. Require a minimum prepayment (e.g., 1 hour).

Option 2: Per-Change Fee: Charge a fixed fee per new minor change requested (e.g., $10 per change).

Requirement: The client will be provided with a breakdown of the charges that clearly states the new fee structure and requires explicit, written confirmation from the client agreeing to the new charges before performing any additional work.

Step 3: Maintaining Professional Boundaries

Consolidate Requests: Even in the paid phase, Cartooncruze.com must insist that the client group all remaining feedback into one list per paid session to maximize their paid time/fee.

Focus on Scope: The customer is reminded that significant changes that alter the original concept (e.g., "Now can we change the background entirely?" or "Can we change the person's expression?") are considered a new project and will require a new quote/fee, rather than falling under the revision policy.

THE CUSTOMER IS REMINDED THAT THE USE OF MANY COMPANY AND NAME BRAND LOGOS MAY VIOLATE COPYRIGHT LAWS AND MAY NOT BE PERMITTED

4. Agreement Sign-off

I have read and agree to the Revision Policy and understand that all changes beyond the two included rounds will incur additional charges as detailed in Section 3.
